I have no clue as to what is damaged. monitor (which has a USB hub) disconnected, but the result is always the same. Keybord has caps lock and num lock keys constantly lit, mouse LED, too. Always Q-code 9A and VGA_LED constantly lit. Thinking all was well as before the BSOD-fest, I switched the PC off, unplugged all cables, put back the side panels, carried it back to its place, plugged everything back in, and started the PC: Q-code 9A and VGA_LED is constantly on. After doing so, prime95, memtest86+, Intel Burn Test, and whatnot all worked for over two days, hibernate, sleep, restart, wake on LAN, it all worked again - until this morning. Then I did two things in addition: set XMP to on and up VCORE +0,050 V. I did not overclock or change the BIOS settings after this "repair". Interspersed with many BSODs type 0x0000000a and 0x0000001e as well as 0x0000003b and 0x000000d1 and once 0x000000d1, this eventually worked as far as Windows and driver updates go, only that prime95 had always worker #1 failing after one hour. I cleaned the PC thoroughly, tried all RAM in different quantities and slots, etc. ![]() In the end I decided to stop fiddling and rather update the BIOS to the latest version, reformat the system disk and re-install Windows 7 and drivers from the original 2011 DVDs and then update Windows and drivers to the latest version.
